NOZZLES, SHIFTS & ROSTER

Nozzle readings and shifts, without the register.

Attendants open and close their shifts on the totaliser readings from their own phone. Maxify works out the litres, the money due at that shift's price, and flags a reading that doesn't follow on from the last one.

Readings per nozzle, money per attendant

  • Set up each dispenser with its nozzles (1A, 1B…), each mapped to a fuel and a tank. A dispenser can carry more than one fuel.
  • A shift opens and closes on totaliser readings. The price is fixed when the shift starts, so a price change never muddles a running shift.
  • One handover covers every nozzle an attendant closes together.
  • Two attendants can share one nozzle. A shortfall on a shared nozzle is split equally between them.
  • If a shift's opening reading doesn't match the last closing reading, managers are alerted to the meter gap.

The morning routine and the 5-litre test

Attendants start the day with a short checklist: 5-litre pump-out done, meter display clean and readable, no leaks around the dispenser or hoses. Managers record test draws in a 5-litre test register; the draw is taken off the shift's expected money, and if your station pours test fuel back into the tank, the stock is put back too. The day book shows a separate “less test” column.

Rosters that match how your pump works

Set shift timings, add one-off custom shifts, assign attendants nozzle by nozzle and save weekly roster patterns. Choose which day a night shift belongs to. On a tablet or computer, drag attendants onto nozzles in 3D Station Control.

Built for a forecourt's signal

Attendants use Maxify in the browser on any phone, and it can be installed like an app. If the signal drops mid-entry, the form is kept on the phone and sent when the signal comes back. A manager can also enter readings for an attendant. If a nozzle or dispenser develops a fault or is switched off, the attendant reports it and the owner gets an email.

Frequently asked questions

Do attendants need a smartphone?

Each attendant needs access to a phone with a browser to enter their own readings. Alternatively, a manager can enter readings for them.

Does Maxify read the dispenser automatically?

No. Readings are entered by your team. Maxify does not connect to dispensers or tank gauges, so there is no hardware to buy or install.
