Corrections the GST way
A bill can be cancelled but never edited. Once a month is marked as filed, its bills can no longer be cancelled; a GST credit note (or debit note) is issued instead.
Reports your accountant can file from
The tax workbook downloads as Excel with sheets laid out like GSTR-1: invoices, HSN summary, credit and debit notes, B2CS net, and documents issued (Table 13). Fuel purchases are kept on their own VAT and excise sheet, and non-fuel purchases with their GST on another.
Read how GST works at a petrol pump for the rules behind this.
Shop and lubricant stock
Keep stock of lubricants and shop items in litres, kilograms or pieces, receive a supplier's whole bill in one go with its GST, and get a low-stock alert before a shelf runs empty.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't Maxify charge GST on fuel?
Petrol, diesel and the other main petroleum products are outside GST in India; they carry central excise and state VAT. Maxify keeps fuel off GST invoices and records fuel purchase tax separately.
Can Maxify file my GST return?
No. It produces Excel reports in the shape of GSTR-1 for you or your accountant to file from. It does not upload returns or generate e-invoices or e-way bills.
